To all the foodies out there, pay attention! Fast Buds' Blackberry seeds produce plants with a powerful bouquet of flavors, including spicy, sweet, fruity, wild berries, and pine. This autoflower version of the famed Blackberry Kush is an Indica-dominant hybrid with just the slightest hint of sativa features. That's not all, Blackberry is one of Fast Buds' purple strains with an unreal wine dark coloring that lets you know this strain will send you on an odyssey like no other.

Taste & Aroma

Very sweet & buttery with a berry aroma.

Blackberry Review

Blackberry's effects feel just like a stereotypical heavy indica. Expect lots of relaxation, but don't expect to get off the couch. The effects kick off with a buzzing cerebral stimulation followed by a smooth yet rapid period of relaxation. The perfect nighttime strain, the product of these Blackberry seeds will put even the most stubborn night owl feel loose and relaxed as the drift off to sleep.

How It Grows

Being small in size, between 70-110cm (2.2 – 3.6ft), it still can pack a punch! The space between nodes is short and bud sites abound with small branches present on the stem. This build helps the plant support itself once the beautiful black/purple buds start to bloom. Over time resin builds up on the flowers giving the impression of a snowy purple Christmas tree. During flowering, the smell is pure bliss with fruity notes dominating. Don't forget the gloves, those fresh high THC, low CBD trichomes can get sticky.

The rarest quality of this Blackberry strain of marijuana is its ability to produce lilac and emit vibrant red shades in its flowers. You won't find genetics like this for sale in our catalog or anywhere else. Talk about a perfect gift for your date on Valentine’s day, the price for a seed is less than a bouquet of roses too. Although it's suitable for both indoor and outdoor cultivation, our Blackberry strain benefits from the extra hours of light that indoor grow offers. To get the maximum benefits of your plant, provide at least 18 hours of light and 6 hours of darkness daily. With proper care, your super plants will be ready in 8 weeks. The Blackberry yield can be up to 600 g / m2 (1.3 pounds per light). Outdoors is ideal for warm climates that don’t experience much overall change in temperature.

10 to 15 days before harvest, you should notice a very dark violet color complimented with sweet fruity aromas and a hint of earthy nuances.

@Jersyn82,Hey everyone, I was just wondering if in a 5x5 tent with 1000w hps with 9 plants I could really expect 450g+. If i have proper ventilation and nutes is this possible? 3 gsc, 3 blackberry and 3 rhino. I'm new to autos is why i ask. Thanks
Reply
Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi Jersyn! Thanks for asking and welcome to the autos world! :DWell, first of all, those yields you comment require a bit of skills and practice. :) But yes, you can get that with 2 GSC, for example. Bear in mind that power and quality medium are the most important things to get high yields. Also, the nutes you'll use will affect.I suggest you to check Growdiaries.com and this #1stFastBudsFilmContest threads.

@Strainman,hi, i'm looking for order some seeds by you're company. For the blackberry you say 18h light per day. Must this strain having 18h in flowering period or just in VEG please?
Reply
Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi, strainman! Thanks for asking!Well, we suggest 18/6 cycle as it's the optimal between cost and yield. But you can run them to 24/0 if you can afford it. More light hours, more yield. But it's more important the wattage of your setup: Higher wattages obtain higher yields. It's better to use more powerful lights less hours and let them sleep a bit too.Autos don't need to follow different light schedules according to the cycle in which they are. You can run them with the same schedule from the day one to the harvest day. As we commented, some growers put them in 24/0 from the beginning till the end to get the highest yields. So it's up to you! Live and learn on the go is the best for us. Read, try and watch how they react to your actions, and you'll find your own method finally!Thank you! Hope it helps a bit! Enjoy growing faster!

@The Mallett,Hi. This is a mad strain and so effective for my PTSD so thank you so much... It has a perfect balance of body relaxation and can smoke all day long but still have insomnia bad...Genetics from 10+ strains!!!! WinnerOn the grow side of things, I am using 30 litre ( 9 Gal ) containers....Too much?
I have one GSC and one BBK <3 :D The BBK pheno I have is over 3ft tall and I have them on 24/0 light schedule?
I also have soil and perlite nice fluffy mix :)
I use organics...BioBizz Grow, Bloom and TopMax, Big Buddhas Solar Power (Sicilic Acid) and Rhizotonic..All using manufacturers RDA. I water ..They are both around day 90 from seed but not all calyxes below are brown and receded into the bud yet...I am also running a dual spectrum 600w Sunmaster in a cooltube and Rhino Pro 6" filter...1. How can I yield more? I am looking at the 300w MarsHydro LED with Full spectrum...I will also have to get 2 timers and switch to 18/6 from start??? As I put 1 down every 2 weeks for perpetual harvest ;)
2 I feed weekly and water one litre mid-week routinely and excess runs freely onto my drip tray. I always check weight of the pots and wait for them to dry out before watering again....Do your strains like this? Please teach me the ways of the BlackBerry !!!! :DThanks in advance

Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi! Nice setup! Yes, 18/6 from the start is the optimal money/yield cycle. You can get higher yields with more hours of light and if you can create a SOG or SCROG and/or if you use LST method is very useful too. I wouldn't let them dry too much. You have to water them when they'll ask for it.

@Anthony,Hi, I'm new to auto flowering strains, I just started two blackberry seeds in 3 gal pots.
When i purchased the seeds the discription says 8wks from seed to harvest but in the comments it states 10wks. Which is more accurate?
I use fox farm nutes. At recommended feed scedule for my photo-period plants. Is this okay for auto strains or should I use half strength?
Is the pot size 3 gal. correct or should I use 5 gal next time?Thank you, in advance. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi, Anthony!
Well, strictly talking, the noted total period in the description it's the minimum time the plant needs to be done. This is not an exact number as you may elongate it one or two more weeks, depending on each plant's needs or the desired effects.
About the nutes you mention, we haven't had the opportunity to test them, but what we know is that our plants become big so they like to eat a lot. We don't suggest you to skimp on the feeding, all the opposite. Blackberry is a big one!
The pots are fine, but larger ones will let you grow bigger plants.
Cheers!
Enjoy growing faster!

@GreenLat,Just a follow up to my previous post, If I have 8 plants, does that equal 10.4 pounds?
Reply
Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi! It's not an exact science because it depends on your skills and on lots of different issues. What is true is the more powerful lights you use, the more more yield you'll get.

Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi! Thanks for asking!Well, it use to mean the expected yield you can reach with a specific light. We suggest minimum 600w/m2.Hope it helps a bit!
