West Coast OG Review

The effect comes in two waves.  The first wave is pure euphoric joy and a heavy buzz in the head, which is sure to please the sativa lovers among you.  The second, more indica dominant wave is utter relaxation and will have you giggling on the couch.  OG Kush's effects feel free of anxiousness, dizziness, headache, and paranoia. This strain is called a legend for a reason after all.

How It Grows

During the initial stage of vegetative growth, the height and weight of our West Coast OG strain will grow at a moderate pace, as it reinforces its root system.  It then exhibits a rapid spike in growth towards the end of the vegetative phase, reaching a height of 1 meter (3.2 ft).  It responds favorably to artificial lighting if grown indoor, and loves the sun when grown outdoor. The West Coast OG yield is up to 650 g/m2 (1.4 pounds per light).  It is quite a chunky compact plant that is well suited for cultivation via SOG and SCROG methods.

Colas reach impressive sizes, especially if you provide our West Coast OG seeds with ample nutrients and water.  It also has the advantage of being able to endure the mistakes of first-time growers.  The buds will develop a fluffy white coating of trichomes in the final weeks of flowering, with the trichome crystals turning amber in color similar to that of carmelized sugar at end of flowering. THC content exceeds 21%.  CBD reaches 1%.

@T.C. Bosby,I'm loving how this strain looks! I'm starting a new grow and having a tough time deciding how many babies to grow. I have a 5x5 grow tent. The light I'll be using is a 16 light COB (700 actual Watts / https://www.johnsongrowligh.... Any idea how many plants I should go with?

@gopappy54,How many days did you let this go before harvest?

Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi! Thanks for asking.
It depends on each plant... You should take a look to the trichomes color with a lens. The usual rule is you can harvest it when they are 50% amber and 50% frosted white. Hope it helps a bit!

@Fast Buds,It uses to be 10-20 days of flushing. Depending. Leaves will tell you.

@One,how much grams usually? it looks like 10/15 maximum
thanks
Reply
Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi, One!
It depends on so much factors, the skills... Indoors you can get more than 600gr/m2. Outdoors, from 70gr up to 300gr /plant.
The most important to increase the yield is the light. More watts/hours, more yield.

@Disko Kobaja,I don't get one thing, why do you always state gm2 for indoor and not per plant? There are people who dont grow sog or scrog..
Reply
Fb
@Fast Buds,Depending on how many plants you grow on a square meter. If you grow one plant on a square meter, the plant will get more light and the yield will be higher than if you would grow 10 plants on a square meter. More plants - less space and less light; less yield. That is why we always specify the gr/m2.

@Stephen Thurman,Hey what's up fast buds we just picked up 40 west coast og autos from ya and was wondering how much light they require a day and is now a good time to start to put these out doors in Northern California?Thanks and we look forwards to grabbing some more gear!
Reply
Fb
@Fast Buds,Hi! Thanks, Stephen! Good to hear, you'll have a great time :D
Well, seems obvious but as much light as they can. Indoors, we recommend 18/6; but outdoors they need al least 6h of direct sun...
About the start, you'll know better your area's weather behavior; but you should avoid temperature and humidity changes, as well as being aware about rains.

@micky,I thought auto only need 12hs of light straight from seed, can you explain more?
Reply
Fb
@Fast Buds,hi, the optimal is 18/6, but outdoors the sunlight is the best. So, the most they can get, the more yield you'll have, protecting them from the hight temperatures and from the rain. Facing the autumn, don't let them get wet when flowering or you can get bud rot.Thanks for asking!

@Fast Buds,Hi again Lucky! Well, we don't recommend training autos. Their veg period is short and they flower automatically, so it could alter and stress her, also. Do you have any good experience with this practice on autos you could share with us? :) Thank you!
