Setup. 60×60×160 tent, 150 W board at 35 cm, 11 L fabric pot, light-mix soil, 20/4 from day one. 24-26 °C, RH 60% in veg and 45% in flower. No CO2, no defoliation past two lower-leaf passes. Second run in this tent, so nothing about the room changed.
What the packet says. RF3 feminized auto, Sativa 60 / Indica 40, flowering 9-10 weeks, height 80-130 cm, 450-550 g/m² indoor, THC up to 30%, lemon-sour-sweet terps. I finished at 118 cm and 112 g dry off a single plant, 68 days from crack. Everything landed inside the printed range, and that is the actual point of this post.
Why I changed breeders. My last three runs were Coldharbour autos. Out of six seeds I got two runts, one that stretched to 150 cm in a tent that cannot take 150 cm, and three plants that finished a fortnight apart. The smoke was fine. I just could never plan a tent around them. I moved to Fast Buds for one reason: I wanted the plant to do what the label said it would do.
What the RF3 line actually did. Both plants from the pack were within 4 cm of each other at week 6 and got chopped two days apart. The purple came in on its own at week 7 when night temps dropped to 19 °C - no cold shocking, no tricks. Resin was heavy enough that trimming took me twice as long as I budgeted for.
What I got wrong. Overfed at week 5 chasing the yield number and clawed the top fans for ten days. Cut the feed to a third, one plain water at pH 6.2, left it alone for four days and it came back. Next run I stay at half strength the whole way and let the genetics do the work.
Smoke report. The lemon is real, but it is sweet lemon, not cleaner-fluid lemon. Relaxed and talkative for the first hour, then straight to the sofa. Jar appeal after a two-week cure is the best I have had out of this tent.
Feed schedule and week-by-week shots in the comments. Ask me anything about the timing.
The clip. One frame every 15 minutes for 90 days, phone clamped to the tent pole so the angle never moved. No music, no cuts. The colour shift near the end is week 7, when night temps dropped to 19 °C and the purple came in on its own.
The room. 60×60×160 tent, 150 W board at 35 cm, 11 L fabric pot, light-mix soil, 20/4 the whole way. 24-26 °C, RH 60% in veg and 45% in flower.
The result. 118 cm finished height, 112 g dry off one plant, 68 days from crack. Packet says 80-130 cm, 9-10 weeks, 450-550 g/m² - so it landed where it was supposed to, which is the reason I bothered filming the whole thing.
What the clip does not show. A ten-day stall around week 5 after I overfed chasing yield. You can see the top fans clawing halfway through if you look for it. Feed to a third, one plain water at pH 6.2, and it walked it off.
Full frame-by-frame settings and the feed schedule in the comments.
That claw plus the dark green is nitrogen toxicity, not overwatering - the tips curling down before they yellow is the tell. Cut the feed to a third for two waterings, flush with plain pH 6.2 water once, and give it four days before you change anything else…

Anyone 18 or older, 21 or older where local law requires it. You need a Reddit account older than 30 days at the moment you enter. Fast Buds employees, their families and anyone involved in running the contest cannot take part.
The contest is void wherever local law does not allow it. It is on you to check that taking part is legal where you live.
Publish your post or comment on Reddit - any subreddit, as long as it allows this kind of content and you follow its rules.
Do not tag the post. No contest hashtag, no brand hashtag, no link back to this page, nothing that reads as a promo. Subreddits remove posts like that, and a removed post cannot be counted. Your entry is matched by the link and the username you submit here - nothing needs to be marked inside the post itself.
Then paste the link into the form on this page. One entry per nomination per person, four entries maximum. The same post cannot be entered in two nominations.
Entries are accepted from September 1, 2026 until September 30, 2026.
Entries open September 1, 2026. Entries close September 30, 2026. Review runs October 1-9, 2026. Winners are announced on October 10, 2026 on this page and across our channels.
Reposts, content you did not make, AI-generated images passed off as photos, stolen footage, watermarked stock, vote manipulation of any kind, brigading, and asking people to upvote your entry.
Nothing that targets a person or a group. Nothing that breaks the rules of the subreddit you posted in. Nothing that promotes sales to minors.
Posts written as advertising - contest tags, affiliate or referral links, "check out this promo" - are out as well. Write for the subreddit, not for us.
Anything on this list voids the entry without notice.

Shipping is on us, but any customs charges or local taxes are on the winner. We ship only where we are allowed to ship.
You keep the rights to everything you post. By entering, you let Fast Buds show your entry - with your Reddit handle credited - on this page, on social channels and in newsletters about this contest.

Any of them. Post wherever your content fits - just follow that subreddit's own rules. A post removed by moderators cannot be counted.
You do not - and please do not try. No contest hashtag, no brand tag, no link to this page. Anything that reads as promo gets your post removed by the subreddit, and a removed post is out of the running. The link and username you submit in the form are all we need to match it.

No. Anyone can enter with anything they grew or made themselves.
