Guava Runtz Auto: A New Era of Champions Line Genetics

This is the first run of Guava Runtz Auto, part of the new Champions Line project.

The cross combines Guava Auto RF3, winner of the latest Autoflower World Cup, with Mango Runtz by Mephisto Genetics, a line known for its terpene profile and repeated success in competition settings.

The objective is to bring these traits into a stable autoflower while maintaining performance and uniformity.

At this stage, the population shows clear F1 hybrid vigor. Plants are developing with a compact structure, tight internodal spacing, and consistent lateral branching. Growth is even across individuals, which allows for more controlled selection moving forward.

Flowering has started uniformly. Early stacking is visible along the branches, with formation developing evenly across the canopy. No major delays between individuals have been observed so far.

Terpene expression is already present in early flower. The profile leans toward tropical fruit, with guava and mango notes, supported by a sweet background. Intensity varies slightly between individuals, which will be a key factor during selection.

Resin production has started early and is building steadily across flowers and sugar leaves. Structure remains stable as flowers develop, with no signs of weakness in branching at this stage.

Selection will focus on terpene intensity, flower density, and overall plant structure. Individuals that fall behind in development or show weaker expression will be removed before the next phase.

This run sets the baseline for the Champions Line. Guava Runtz Auto is showing the expected direction, combining strong structure, early resin production, and a terpene profile aligned with current breeding targets.

Early results indicate strong potential for further refinement and make this line a solid candidate for growers looking to work with high level, competition backed genetics.
