Description

One of FastBuds original genetics, a stabilized autoflowering retake on the classic OG Kush. This potent Indica tops out at around 21% THC and is one of our first cup winning genetics. A classic strain that any grower will fall in love with. A good choice for new growers looking to grow a potent and classic strain without too much fuss.

Bud description

West Coast OG buds are bright green and despite their compact build, the dense coating of crystals gives them an almost fluffy look. Like a sugary donut these buds will stick to your fingers and leave sprinkles of crystals wherever you leave it, so make sure to have a recipient to not lose any of that precious powder.

Smoke report

Two waves of effects can be expected when using this strain; the first, an uplifting euphoric high, energetic, and bubbly. The second wave slowly creeps in as you’ll notice the energetic vibes fade out and slowly progress into a more relaxing “chill on the couch” feeling. That said, these effects aren’t sedative, and will most likely leave you giggling watching some Comedy central or your favorite sitcom.

Plant Appearance

This west coast queen will develop a large main cola, topping a stem filled with multiple bud sites, good internodal spacing, and some light side branches. Growing at a medium pace to around 70-100 cm, she’s a feisty producer for her size, producing up to 650g/m2. A sturdy plant that’ll forgive any new growers mistakes.

Grow Tips

Due to her compact build and good internodal spacing, she’ll respond very nicely to SCROG, SOG, or LST. Watch out for the plant tends to stretch in the last weeks of vegetating, but won’t surpass 1 meter in height. A hefty producer and will do even better with the adequate dosage of water and nutrients. Overall an easy-going plant that’s great for newbies and pros looking for classic genetics alike.

Flavor

A strong kushy taste that’s defined by dominant pine tastes and underlain by citrusy hints, giving the smoke rough but sweet and with that unique OG Kush taste that’s the staple of all the best modern genetics.

Outstanding customer care
Made it to 50 days of veg, so reached out to customer services sharing pics and grow parameters. I received same day response advising me that I had a photoperiod and to take it 9 weeks on a 12/12 light cycle. In addition to this I was invited to make use of the warranty policy for the inconvenience. I received replacement seeds and festive socks (it’s the little things lol). The smell when growing was loud fuel and lemon citrus. The taste at low vape temps is cheesy garlic. The effects are euphoric and discombobulating, leading to a joyful calm. Spend your cash with confidence 5/5 company.

West coast OG
3rd time ordering from fastbuds and I’m extremely happy with every order. Every seed has germinated in all my past orders and 4 out of the 5 germinated out of my last order and unfortunately it was my west coast OG strain still tho 80% germination rate is still high and it’s been 100% on every other order so I’m still gonna give a 5 star rating I’m just gutted I didn’t get to grow this strain as I was really excited to try it…

I got a westcoast o.g growing outdoor and it just went into week 3 but seems like it stopped growing, does it stall for a bit then keeps growing or is that a problem that cant be fixed?
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for asking! It shouldn't stop growing, make sure you are feeding your plant properly, that there are no bugs attacking your plant and that the roots have space to grow more.

I am growing this strain and she started flowering like 3-5 days ago and when i blow fan on her now she starts to fold her leaves around the new flowers and stays like that for 2 hours or so..

Question:
Q:
Hello! My WCOG plant went puple on vegetation and now all of the buds is purple. Is it West Coast O.G. or may be it was confuse during production and the seed in pack was not WCOG?
Answer:
A:
Hello! Even though a certain strain is not purple, it can develop different colors depending on the growing conditions. For example, your plant can turn purple if you have a difference of about 10 degrees celsius at night.

Question:
Q:
I want to grow 2 west coast og outdoor in a sunny garden in pots, but I need the total size (pot+plant) not to reach more than 60cm because of my neighbours. Do you think it would be possible? If yes, which size of pots should I use, and how much grams could I expect? Do you think airpots would be suitable for it?
Answer:
A:
Thanks for asking! This strain grows around 100cm so it won't be possible unless you scrog or tie down the branches. We have other strains that grow shorter but you should LST them to ensure you don't have any problems.

Question:
Q:
I am at 7 weeks with great growth but no bloom. I have the green crack and its in the 2nd week of flowering and both were planted at the same time. Will I have to go on a 12/12 to get her to bloom?
Answer:
A:
Hi, thanks for asking! Some automatic strains can take a bit more to start flowering but they will definitely flowering, there's no need to change the light cycle because autoflowers don't depend on a specific amount of light to trigger flowering.

Q:
How much does the west coast og yield per plant under 600 watt hps

It will depend on the environment it's grown in and the care you take but you can expect up to 200g per plant if grown properly in 11L pots.

Question:
Q:
I have heat and humidity around 70-85% all year-round, from june till august it's 40c with spikes of 45c. can your plants take the challenge? what are your most mold and mildew resistant strains?
Answer:
A:
Hi, thanks for asking. Cannabis plants should be grown in temperatures ranging from 18-26 degrees, we have plants that grow better in hotter climates (like our Amnesia haze) but you will have to take good care or you may encounter problems along your growing cycle.

Question:
Q:
we just picked up 40 west coast og autos from ya and was wondering how much light they require a day and is now a good time to start to put these outdoors in Northern California?
Answer:
A:
hi, the optimal is about 18/6 or 20/4, but outdoors the sunlight is the best. So, the most they can get, the more yield you'll have, protect them from the hight temperatures and from the rain. Facing the autumn, don't let them get wet when flowering or you can get bud rot. Thanks for asking!

Question:
Q:
hello, 10 weeks after germination, the color of the trichomes is still milk-colored. Has anyone else exceeded the 10 week limit before collecting?thank you D.
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for your question. Yes, after 10 weeks the trichomes should be milky, this means your flowers are ready for harvest. If you leave them a couple of days more they'll start to turn amber, giving a more corporal effect.

Question:
Q:
hello, 10 weeks after germination, the color of the trichomes is still milk-colored. Has anyone else exceeded the 10 week limit before collecting?thank you D.
Answer:
A:
Yes, depending on the growing conditions and your preference some strains can take a bit more to completely matured. If around 70% of the trichomes are cloudy (or milky) your plant should be chopped down, if you prefer a more corporal effect you can wait a bit more and harvest the buds when the trichomes have turned amber.
