After the great success of Mary Jane Berlin, we knew we had to return to Germany as soon as possible. This time, we wanted to give back to our clients and supporters, so alongside our newest team member, Berny (aka Greenthumbjacobscraft), we embarked on a journey to meet, chat, and hang out with growers in Germany.
Seeds and Smiles
Unlike our last trip, this time we focused on connecting directly with the growers and providing them with the main 'ingredient' needed to grow top-shelf weed—Fast Buds premium seeds. We brought plenty of gifts to share and, as always, answered any questions from the community.
As mentioned, Berny, our newest team member, quickly became highly sought after for his cultivation knowledge and made a big impression on everyone he met, both at HamCan and during our visits to local Fast Buds growers (stay tuned for more updates, coming very soon).
A Warm Welcome at HamCan
Our first expo in Hamburg was great. Even before entering the fair, we knew we were in for something special, as the people welcomed us as if we were family. The love for the plant and our team was palpable.
Right before entering the expo, there was someone outside asking for money to buy weed, and Berny gave him a beautifully cured bud of Lemon Cherry Cookies, marking the beginning of what would be a great fair and an excellent trip.
As soon as we entered the HamCan expo, we were surrounded by growers eager to share their experiences with our genetics.
Many had driven hundreds of kilometers just to meet us. One interesting thing was that all the people came from different backgrounds but shared a love for cannabis. Several vendors had our seeds in stock, and it was thrilling to hear that our strains are absolute bestsellers in German stores such as the Banana Purple Punch which is amongst our top five in the country.
The Best of Fast Buds
We wanted to showcase our latest releases and spread as much love as possible at HamCan. However, the event wasn’t only about showcasing our products; it was also about building relationships with fans, friends, and clients.
We gifted graffiti artist ivel.ink some Apricot Auto seeds, and in return, he incorporated our logo into his artwork—a beautiful display of the love for the cannabis culture we’re all part of.
Additionally, Sebastian conducted numerous interviews that will be released over the coming weeks. Keep an eye out for the latest videos, as they’ll provide deeper insights into our trip to Germany and the latest developments in the local cannabis scene.
The Universe Cup
As we wandered through the streets of Hamburg on our way to our next event, we noticed something unusual—cannabis plants growing on every balcony. This was a sign of the recent change in German laws and a powerful reminder of the green wave that is about to hit the whole world.
Sebastian had the honor of serving as a Pro Judge at the Universe Cup, proudly sponsored by Fast Buds. The cup was full of top-shelf entries, showcasing the best that German growers have to offer. Additionally, we had the opportunity to meet D-Flame, a famous German rapper who shares a strong passion for cannabis, just like our team.
After every fair we attend, we realize that Germany is becoming greener and greener, and we’re extremely happy to be a part of this transformation and to continue supporting the incredible community that has flourished in Germany! But our journey doesn’t end here. Next stop—CannaFair in Düsseldorf. We can’t wait to see you there!
