not as deep purple as I hoped but good
it was probably the too high day temps because buds not turning deep purple was only one issue. the other was top leaves drying out and getting yellow. and the aroma which was so promising in mid flower petered out in the weeks leading to the harvest.

Delicious looking sugared buds, the best for looks and flavors.
I was impressed by how the buds changed right before the harvest. They got very very dense and heavy, sugared all over, and with so many colors - subdued greens, purple and pinkish and orange streaks and of course plenty of white thanks to a thick coat of trichomes. The flavor is caramel-like and mouthwatering. I can’t get enough of it!

Three weeks into flowering and I’m still dialing in nutrients for the perfect balance between growth rates and a lack of overfeeding symptoms. Hope I figure it out soon because this girl has so much potential!

The leaves on tops are going brown and bronze. Must be some kind of deficiency. Other strains are doing fine, so I don’t try to dial in the res for just one plant’s sake. Will keep feeding her the same nutes as the rest and see how it goes.

Went from seed to harvest in 90 days
Stayed short, yielded 1.5 ounces of top-shelf bud. Smells not unlike Kush - of citrus and pine.

she’s got potency, she’s got looks, the amount of resing is stupefying and the smell super strong. i can easily imagine growing strawberry gorilla and no other strain for the rest of my life.

you can tell the gorilla influence right away
this strain is so gluey and reeks so intense, has perfect conical buds of above-average size and density, the purplish color is beautful in an elegant understated way. a joy to grow and to smoke.

potent high first giggly and then narcotic
The initial rush is so intense that you start to giggle out of sheer nervousness because you’re overwhelmed with what’s happening to you. the knees get week and you need to sit down or lie down urgently and once you’re comfortable you can enjoy the heavy handed narcotic euphoria. it’s very difficult to dose this potent stuff so I fall asleep almost every time.

never seen trichs appear so early
It’s only the second week of flowering but the buds and leaves look frostier than most plants at harvest. It’s ridiculous. The buds are still tiny though, still a long way to go.

Package lost in transit, waiting for replacement

good dominant sativa, quite fast
I let her go for 11 weeks, would prefer to make it shorter but the trichomes stayed milky and I wanted to see some ambers before chopping her. Not so many trichomes by the way as in my previous grow with the original Z. The smell and high are also different but great in their own way.

only smoked an uncured bud so far but it was potent

It was a long ride - 17 weeks, but the yield is massive and the smell in the jars is amazing: flowery, citrusy goodness, very strong. the early text smoke shows sativa dominance but of course it can change yet.

I got a harvest of epic proportions
Close to 200 grams dry, 90% of which are big and dense premium buds and 10% popcorns. All curing now, will give them a rip at the end of this week.

an intense smell in the grinder, more nuanced in the pipe
it’s the stinkiest stuff when you grind it, but after the first or second toke I start to notice subtler notes and have tremendous fun guessing them all.

She’s a well-fed gorgeous lady
The colas are quite bulky and extra dense, super frosty of course as any Gorilla hybrid shoud be. I expect great things from her in terms of yields and potency.

This strain grows really easy and really fast, producing some big yeilds and combact buds!! I have grown about 4 phenos out of her and every single one were similar so not too much diversity with this lady and that is nice. Shows how stable the genetics are, she handles stress very well and gets super frosty!! The terpine profile is musky gassy funk, not my go to terp but I would enjoy smoking this strain any day any time!! If you like Gelato and are looking for a easy to grow high yeilding autoflower this is the one for you! ;) I give her 3 stars only due to the terp profile not being my favorite but dont get me wrong, this is a fantastic strain and strong genetics!! : )

the zkittlez part really made the taste better
I’ve tried both parents before and I think I like their offspring the most. The high is very similar to amnesia - active and lucid but the sweet citrus taste is better.

My Amnesia Z is ultra compact and the buds are ridiculously dense. I seldom get such rock-hard buds even from dominant Indicas. However she needs plenty of light to be this way as I gave one seed to my friend and he got a much taller, open-structured plant under a weaker HPS light.

It was a troubed grow, especially in flower
For some reason the leaves were praying and the tips were scorched. The buds were turning crispy too so had to cut her down with mostly clear trichs. Not much of a smell either.

Both signs of too much light, should have backed off the ligh. Either turned it down or increased the height.

If you can’t adjust lights properly and maintain the height need between the plants you should go do some more research on light temps and height for growing in flowering and vegetation it’s all learning process here people never knew this in the begging so let’s grow !

it’s very easy on the lungs and doesn’t make me cough despite serious potency. the primary flavor is earth with notes of berries and a sweet aftertaste. a nice head high with a full-body buzz, everything i like about weed and it comes all at once.
