May Photo Contest Winners on Discord

Another month, another round of incredible entries from the Fast Buds Discord community. The May Photo Contest has officially wrapped up, and once again the growmies made choosing the winners anything but easy.

From chunky colas covered in frost to full plants taking over entire grow tents, May delivered a little bit of everything. As always, the winners were decided by community reactions, proving once again that every vote matters.

May brought the heat

This month's contest featured strong entries across all categories. Bud Flex shots showed off beautiful flowers in all their glory, Close Up entries highlighted every trichome and colorful detail, and Full Bush submissions reminded everyone what months of hard work can look like when everything comes together.

The competition stayed tight until the very end, but three entries managed to rise above the rest.

Honorary Mentions

Before we reveal the winners, a quick shoutout to all the growmies who joined the contest this month. May was packed with frosty flowers, colorful genetics, and some seriously impressive plants.

Several entries came close to reaching the podium, making the community vote one of the most competitive we've seen this year. Thank you to everyone who shared their grows and helped make the contest channel a great place to hang out every month:

A long, dense Gorilla Cookies cola packed with resin and stacked flowers. Simple, clean, and impossible to scroll past.

Beautiful purple hues and heavy frost make this Banana Purple Punch stand out. A colorful bud flex that perfectly captures late flower beauty.

• Papaya Sherbet – Bud Flex – @Spacement Growmie

Chunky flowers and impressive stacking give this Papaya Sherbet serious bag appeal. A great example of why bud flex entries are always fan favorites.

• Banana Purple Punch RF3 – Bud Flex – @Mr_GreenEYE420

Bright pink and purple tones combined with frosty flowers create a striking visual. This RF3 beauty brought plenty of color to the May lineup.

The May Podium

• 3rd Place – @Nik

Category: Full Bush
Strain: Z Up

Nik claimed third place with a massive Z Up plant that completely filled the grow space. Thick branching, impressive canopy coverage, and healthy flower development made this one impossible to ignore. It was the kind of full bush entry that immediately makes growmies start imagining the harvest.

SmokedFish brought an incredibly frosty Papayton close up that showcased everything we love about flowering plants. Deep colors, beautiful leaf expression, and a chunky flower packed with resin helped this shot stand out from a crowded field of strong contenders.

Category: Bud Flex
Strain: Apple Strudel Auto

Taking the top spot this month is Frogist with an Apple Strudel Auto bud flex that earned more reactions than any other entry. Covered in frost and photographed perfectly, this bud had all the ingredients of a winning shot. The community loved it, and the votes made it official.
