Strawberry Gorilla Auto Takes the Podium for Best Hash at NRW Weed Cup 2026
Strawberry Gorilla Auto has another cup result to add to the list. This time, the strain took 3rd Place for Best Hash at the NRW Weed Cup 2026, held during Cannafair in Düsseldorf.
Strawberry Gorilla Lands on the Podium in Düsseldorf
The NRW Weed Cup brings the cannabis community together in Düsseldorf for several days of exhibitions, meetups and competition, finishing things off with the cup award ceremony.
Growers, hashmakers and cannabis enthusiasts get a chance to meet, share their work and see how some of the best entries in the scene stack up against each other.
Strawberry Gorilla made its mark in the hash category, earning 3rd Place for Best Hash among some seriously good entries.
Jacob Stone Does It Again
The winning Strawberry Gorilla hash was made by Jacob Stone (StonesworldDK), and this isn't his first great result with these genetics.
Earlier this year, Jacob brought Strawberry Gorilla to the Clouds in the City Cup 2026 in Berlin, where his entry took 1st Place for Best Water Hash.
A few months later, Strawberry Gorilla Auto is back on a German podium, once again in hash form and once again processed by Jacob.
Made for the Wash
Anyone who has grown Strawberry Gorilla Auto knows just how frosty she gets. The flowers pack on a thick layer of trichomes as they mature, giving hashmakers plenty of resin-rich material to work with.
Then there are the terps. Strawberry Gorilla brings a sweet strawberry and fruity profile with creamy and gassy notes underneath. When those terps make it through the wash and into the final product, there's plenty going on in both aroma and flavor.
With a 1st Place for Water Hash in Berlin and now 3rd Place for Best Hash in Düsseldorf, 2026 has been a good year for Strawberry Gorilla in the solventless scene.
The Strawberry Gorilla Trophy List Keeps Growing
The latest win joins a competition record that goes back to 2023. Over the years, judges have recognized Strawberry Gorilla for its flowers, sativa qualities, terpene content and, more recently, its performance as hash.

From Flower Cups to Hash Cups
Strawberry Gorilla first started picking up trophies for the quality of its flowers and terpene profile. Three years later, hash made from the same genetics is making its way onto competition podiums.
For us, that's one of the most interesting parts of these latest results. A strain can look great covered in trichomes, but putting that resin through the wash is another test entirely.
So far, Strawberry Gorilla seems pretty comfortable there too.
Two Hash Podiums in 2026
Berlin gave Strawberry Gorilla its first hash win of the year with 1st Place for Best Water Hash. Düsseldorf has now added another trophy with 3rd Place for Best Hash.
