Modern autoflower strains Like Fast Buds' are flower making machines. A large plant can net you up to a kilo of dried product ready for smoking, edibles, and concentrates. However, not all autos yield the same. The earliest strains, like the much-famed lowrider, produced barely a full ounce, while Fast Buds' selectively bred strains yield much more. Today we're going to cover the top 5 best yielding autoflower strains in our catalog.
Our best selling strain packs all the famed effects of the original GG #4 into an autoflower powerhouse that can yield up to one kilo, like the specimen pictured above. This outdoor grown Gorilla Glue is the largest we've ever seen, but its far from the only high yielder. The plant below from @bangdangbuds on Instagram is no slouch either. Not bad for a time investment of fewer than three months.
This fruity flavored hybrid leans towards the sativa side, but it won't set you on edge. Instead, it offers a social and amorous energy that slowly slides into blissful relaxation.
Growers often tell us that Pineapple Express is our highest yielding strain, and while that's not quite true (look at the Gorilla Glue up top!), it might be our most consistent. If you're looking to grow a lot of one kind of autoflower, there's no doubt that Pineapple Express is your best bet.
Six Shooter owes its name to its massive bud production and thickness of its colas. This bushy sativa goes from looking like an empty frame around week 5 to a 'fully-loaded' flowering plant with grams and grams of good stuff to harvest. The specimen above, grown by @bangdangbuds, on Instagram, yielded over half a kilo.
And yield isn't the only thing Six Shooter has going for it. It's a resinous sativa with a kick perfect for physical activities and daytime use. It also made our Top 5 List of our Best Outdoor Strains.
Another bushy sativa like Six Shooter. California Snow takes its name from its massive colas that develop a thick, white coat of resin. Before harvesting these buds look like the Sierra Nevada mountains topped with snow. California Snow yields comparable amounts to Six Shooter, and the effects are similar, but it's this strain's delicious apple flavor that sets it apart. You won't want to miss any of that flavor so be sure to clean your piece first.
Another sativa (noticing a theme here?), Blue Dream'Matic likes to grow tall and packs on the buds sites during vegetation. Then they explode with growth once flowering comes and produce the dense, pistil lined buds that any Cali dispensary veteran would recognize as Blue Dream. The plant pictured above yielded 380 grams after curing.
Our autoflower Blue Dream features all the same effects and flavors of the original, but there is one difference. Fast Buds' Blue Dream'matic tastes of Berries in addition to the citrus flavor of the original.
We've got a lot of high-yielding strains, and we couldn't end this Top Five without a shout-out to one strain which didn't quite cut.
Our largest sativa, and our largest plant overall, Fast Buds autoflower Tangie like to stretch and produces green buds with a citrus flavor. It's an active sativa, but lacks the rush you might expect from a strain like Six Shooter, or our own Mexican Airlines. It offers similar amounts of bud to our Blue Dream'Matic. Tangie also made the list for The Best Autoflowering Strains for Beginners and The 5 Strongest Autoflower Strains.
