This September, we're putting the best of it in the spotlight with the Fast Buds Best Reddit Post of 2026 Contest.
There are four categories, eight winning spots and a full month to get involved. Entries are open from September 1 to September 30, 2026.

The first category is Best Photo Post, and there's plenty of room to get creative.
Maybe you've captured an especially frosty flower, a colorful pheno, an impressive plant before harvest or just one of those grow-room moments that deserves a permanent spot in your camera roll.
The winning photo post will earn its creator a 42 Jacket and a Mystery Box of their choice.

Best Video Post is open to original grow footage, whether that's a timelapse, garden tour, harvest video or something completely different.
One winner will also walk away with a 42 Jacket plus a Mystery Box of their choice.
Sometimes the Best Info Is in the Comments
Anyone who regularly browses growing subreddits knows the comments can be just as valuable as the original post.
That's why Best Comment has its own category.
We're looking for contributions that genuinely helped someone, whether you spotted a problem, suggested a fix, shared some hard-earned grow knowledge or simply gave another grower the answer they needed.
There will be three winners, each receiving a Mystery Box of their choice.
Grow Memes Finally Get Their Moment
We've all had those grows.
The seedling that refuses to cooperate. The plant that stretches into another postcode. The "quick check" of the grow tent that somehow becomes the tenth visit of the day. Turn it into something funny and Best Meme could be yours.
Three original meme creators will be selected, with a Mystery Box going to each winner.

That makes eight winners altogether: one for photo, one for video, three for comments and three for memes.
But the prizes aren't limited to the winners.
Everyone who submits a valid entry will also receive a discount code by email once the entry period has ended.

- Copy the link to your post or comment.
- Submit it through the contest page by September 30.
- Enter up to four times, once per category.

You might not even need to create something new.
Take a look through your Reddit history. That grow photo that blew up, a video from your last harvest, a detailed comment that helped another grower or a meme you're still proud of could already be a contender.
You can enter across all four categories, giving you more than one way to get involved.

The contest runs throughout September, with entries closing on September 30, 2026. We'll then go through the submissions before revealing the winners on October 10.
