Refining Gorilla Cookies Auto: Advancing the Next Generation

This is the current pollination stage of our latest Gorilla Cookies Auto run.

For this cycle, we already performed a heavy early selection, removing around fifty percent of the initial population. Only the most representative plants were kept for the next step.

The main objective of this generation is very clear: to reduce the overall flowering time while maintaining the vigor and productivity that Gorilla Cookies is known for.

Pollination is now being carried out under controlled conditions inside our facility.

Selection doesn’t stop here. Over the next weeks, we will continue evaluating the population during flowering. Plants that show slower development or delayed progression will be removed. We will also exclude the tallest outliers, since the goal is to bring the population toward a more uniform plant size.

The idea is to move the line toward a more homogeneous structure and a faster, more predictable finishing window, without losing the strong growth and yield potential of the genetics.

This is how a line evolves over time, not by making plants bigger every generation, but by refining the population to improve performance where it matters most.
