How to use Puffco Proxy vaporizer
To operate the Proxy, press and hold the button for 3 seconds to power on or off the device. The Proxy offers four distinct heat settings, indicated by different colors: blue represents the lowest setting, while white signifies the highest. Simply single-click to switch between these settings.
Before heating, load your Proxy with your preferred material while being cautious not to overpack to prevent any leakage into the base. After loading, place the carb cap atop the chamber, then double-click to initiate the heating process. A pulsing light indicates the device is heating up, and it will flash and vibrate three times once it's ready.
Hold the device upright and inhale gently to maximize vapor production. If necessary, double-click to activate the boost feature, which raises the heat and prolongs your session. Avoid initiating heat-up more than four times consecutively. To check your remaining battery percentage, triple-click the button. Cleaning and maintenance recommendations
First of all, ensure that the device has cooled down completely before disassembling and cleaning. Avoid handling the base, chamber, or glass while they are still hot. For light cleaning, utilize a cotton swab dipped in 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol to eliminate any residue as required, ensuring to delicately cleanse the gold contact points between the chamber and base to avert potential connection issues.
For more thorough cleaning, submerge the chamber in 90%+ Isopropyl Alcohol for 20-30 minutes, remembering not to handle or clean the chamber while it remains hot. Then detach the tether, gently pull it back to disengage the jacket from the housing rib of the chamber, gradually pulling back from the other ribs until the jacket is completely removed.
For reattachment, align one of the open slots on the underside with the chamber's housing rib and firmly push down until it is fully seated. The tether/carb cap can also undergo soaking for deep cleaning, bearing in mind that Isopropyl Alcohol may temporarily expand silicone but will ultimately return it to its original size.
Following soaking, ensure the chamber is thoroughly dried before use, keeping in mind that Isopropyl Alcohol is highly flammable. Make sure to maintain a secure grip on the jacket during insertion or removal. Also, when reinserting, align the three prongs on the chamber with the base, taking care to avoid exerting force on the chamber to prevent potentially irreversible damage.
