Description

A Sativa dominant citrus terpy beast that hash makers and extractors will fall in love with. A superb autoflowering hybrid that boasts an impressive 24% THC, to match her wonderful taste with potency. Well recommended for first-time growers looking for a low maintenance, yet extremely productive cultivar that will flower from seed to harvest in 9-10 weeks. This strain can grow tall making her one of the larger autoflowering hybrids, meaning she is a wise choice for commercial growers in search of something extra special.

Bud description

Her buds are encrusted with trichomes giving her a totally white appearance, and the calyxes are large-sized making her buds look stacked. The buds have a very distinct tangerine, orange fruity aroma with a sharp sour, sherbet background, and when handled are highly resinous.

Smoke report

After tasting Orange Sherbet Auto, you will feel her Sativa dominance and potency as she keeps you in orbit for hours on end. Absolutely delicious flavors and an effect that can be described as uplifting, exhilarating, deeply creative, and motivated. This cultivar is perfect for social scenarios, dinner parties, days at the beach, a long hike, getting through a long to-do list or just playing music, gaming, or reading.

Plant Appearance

One of our taller hybrids that can grow between 110-150cm so it's best suited for those with plenty of growing space. Thanks to her Sativa heritage, expect this lady to grow quickly with large sized internodal spacing and a wide bushy appearance. Yields of 500-600gr/m2 can be expected, so we advise supporting her during the blooming period. An incredible producer of extremely resinous flowers, that performs well in all climates, but especially in warmer ones. She will grow large-sized buds, with prolific amounts of resin on the surrounding leaves, that will have hash makers licking their lips in anticipation.

Grow Tips

We recommend performing plant training such as L.S.T with this cultivar, as this will help open her canopy and increase yields further. Adding bamboo canes for support will help hold the weight of the buds during the flowering stage. Indoor growers with limited space may have issues controlling the final height, so we suggest tying plants down. Thanks to her heavy onset of resin on both buds and leaves, she makes some excellent water hash, dry sift, and extracts meaning you should have your trim bins ready when harvesting this special cultivar.

Flavor

Her flavor can be described as a cocktail of fresh orange juice and sweet and sour tangerine sherbet. A very sharp and distinctive taste that accompanies the cerebral effect wonderfully that will leave a strong fruit smoothie flavor in your mouth.

Question:
Q:
Hi. How much time the strain stays in vegetation stage usually?
Answer:
A:
Hello! Our Orange Sherbet takes around 9-10 weeks from seed to harvest so the vegetative phase should take around 4-6 weeks.

Question:
Q:
Hello, how many orange S could I fit in a 4x4x8 tent using 20 ltr pots please? Also, regarding lights I have a 600w hps and 1000w hps, is stronger better for autos? Thanks for this great site guys.
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for asking. If it's 4x4x8 feet, you will be able to fit around 4-6 plants in 20L pots. About the lights, you need around 100w per plant so as long as you don't have more than 6 plants you'll be okay with a 600w bulb but you could probably improve the quality and yields by having a 1000w light bulb.

Question:
Q:
Hello, thanks for this brilliant site. How many plants could I fit in a 4x4x8ft tent please? And how much from 600 hps?
Answer:
A:
Hello, you can fit from 4-8 plants, depending on the pot size, just have in mind that you should provide around 100w per plant so if you're growing under a 600w light bulb, it's better to have 6 plants or less.

Orange Sherbet
I made a few mistakes growing these plants, let the EC spike early in the vegetative stage, went too light on the calmag which showed deficiencies during flower, worst of all I accidentally snapped the main cola off the plant in the first week of flower when I was trying to tie it down ... and it did NOT matter. Despite the abuse I put them through these two girls both produced a large quantity (113+ grams) of deliciously smokable bud. Nugs are dense, with excellent smells of orange and ice cream. I had little problems from the plants themselves, as all the issues I had were directly my fault. I haven't used my sugar leaf trim yet, but from how frosty it looks I'm also expecting excellent results. I am really looking forward to growing this strain again and am expecting the results of a perfect grow to be even better than the results I was able to get this go around.

My favorite strain so far
Orange Sherbet will definitely be one of my top favorites. For a 70/30 sativa hybrid it doesn't get much better than this. Fast flowering time and makes for great extractions. Close to 25% return on flower rosin. Tastes fruity, earthy, citrusy, and tangie! A must have strain for daytime use. For more follower me on Instagram @ Autopotz

Orange Sherbet
I'm super excited to give this one a try, so far my experience with Fast Buds has been nothing but pleasant. The website is super user friendly... I had an issue making a payment, but the customer service chat support helped me resolve it really quickly. I've grown other strains from this breeder and it went great. All the nice Instagram posts actually really inspired me to get this particular strain. I know I'm gonna love it.

Highlight of this summer
The Orange Sherbet was a strain that I grew outdoor just to see how she would behave and the result was great. I loved the flavor and smell of the plant, great structure and super big buds. I will surely run this strain again in the future!

Lovely smell
Week 8, not the bigger plant I grew but buds are rock solid and heavy, frosting is massive and smell is incredible, smells like tangerine peels and sandalwood, love it. Waiting for flush, ppl told me that it makes wonders to this plant. She handle heavy ferts without showing any sign of nuteburn, EC was 2.5. Next time I'll grow in coco for sure, seems it provide more veg growth with late flowering time.

Outdoor grow
I grew this outdoors this summer in the mediterranean sun and she did great. No issues with pests and got a good yield considering it was outdoors (just under 70 grams dry). If grown indoors in a controlled environment I think you could get a fantastic yield. Finished curing the buds this week and they're smoking great, very tasty and smooth. Definitely a great sativa strain that I'll grow again soon.

It depends on several factors but as a guideline, when 75% of the pistils have turned brown and the trichomes are cloudy it's ready to be harvested.

Question:
Q:
I've heard that autoflowers need less nutrients than photoperiod plants and now I'm really scared of overfeeding mine. How much nutrients do you recommend?
Answer:
A:
Hello! You should start with a lower dose and gradually increase it until you are feeding a full dose, always looking for signs of overfeeding.

Question:
Q:
My seedling has a purple stem. Should I be worried?
Answer:
A:
Hello! Red or purple stems can be caused by incorrect pH levels, a magnesium deficiency, inappropriate humidity or temperatures, and it can also be a characteristic of the genetics so if your plant is growing properly you shouldn't worry at all.
