Origin and Selection of Our GG#4 Photoperiod Cuts
How our Gorilla Glue #4 phenotypes were selected and validated.

Some people recently asked about the photoperiod cuts we use in our projects, especially GG#4 and where it comes from.

The GG#4 material we work with was selected from a phenohunt of original Gorilla Glue #4 genetics from GG Strains, originally created by Joesy Whales. From that hunt, we selected three phenotypes that matched what we were looking for in terms of structure, vigor, and overall expression.

These cuts have been used both for photo-to-auto and photo-to-photo work. We usually don’t flower already selected clones, but since we’re currently working a lot with GG#4 in our ongoing selections and also planning some backcrosses, we recently ran them again to recheck and confirm the phenotypes.
