Remo nutrients are owned and created by Remo, back in 2001 he became one of the first medicinal cannabis patients in Canada and since then has been not only teaching how to grow but also modifying his growing techniques which, in 2014, resulted in the Remo Nutrients line and more than 30 awards worldwide.
This fertilizer line offers an easy and cost-effective way to grow cannabis seeds in small and large-sized operations and unlike other companies, the complete line comprises only 7 products, making them much easier to use while providing the vitamins, minerals, and extracts your plants need to thrive. If you're interested in Remo nutrients read along for more info about Remo nutrients, NPK content, advantages of their additives, and the best feeding schedule for autoflowers and photoperiodics!
1. Base Nutrients
Remo Nutrients, just like most other brands, consists of three products that provide the foundation for your plants to grow how they should, with a green-rich color and a robust structure. Micro, Grow and Bloom contain a unique macro and micronutrient blend of pharmaceutical-grade marine extracts and minerals along with top-quality chelates to provide optimal consistency and pH balance.
So, why should you apply this to your plants? Well, there’s a reason why some gardeners decide to heavily mulch their garden beds with seaweed. These aquatic organisms are absolutely packed with minerals that help cannabis plants thrive. In particular, seaweed extracts are high in nitrogen—a macronutrient that plants need to grow and develop. Nitrogen serves as a key part of amino acids, the small building blocks of proteins that plants need to form their structure and create the enzymes that they need to catalyze vital chemical reactions. Oh, but there’s more! Adding seaweed extract to your soil doesn’t just directly benefit your plants. It feeds the many beneficial microbes in the soil, including bacteria and fungi, that subsequently ramp up nutrient cycling and help to build a stable soil food web.
Micro
Micro provides the basic nutrients for your plants to grow healthy and strong since the seedling stage thanks to the high-quality minerals and chelates. This product is designed to be used in combination with the rest of the base nutrients, allowing you to grow flowers with an exceptional quality easily.
Nitrogen (N) | Phosphorus (P) | Potassium (K) |
---|---|---|
3 | 0 | 1 |
The pharmaceutical-grade micronutrients within this bottle include copper, manganese, calcium, and molybdenum. Collectively, these key minerals help plants to build cell walls and membranes, increase enzymatic activities, split water, and convert nitrate into important proteins.
How and When to Apply
This additive has been designed to be used throughout the entire lifecycle, and Remo have provided us with specific dosage info for each and every week.
For the vegetative growth stage:
- Week 1: use 1.3 ml per 1 liter water.
- Week 2: use 1.5 ml per 1 liter water.
- Week 3: use 1.8 ml per 1 liter water.
- Week 4: use 2.1 ml per 1 liter water.
For the flowering growth stage:
- Week 1-4: use 2.1 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
- Week 5-7: use 2.6 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
Keep in mind that these figures are just a guide, and you should be testing the feed water before you water for EC levels and checking the pH is exactly where you want it.
Grow
Grow provides NPK in the proper amounts for your plants to grow sturdy branching and big bright-green leaves, promoting photosynthesis while preparing your plants for a plentiful flowering stage. You can expect healthy plant growth without any kind of nutrient deficiencies or toxicity, resulting in a much smoother growth cycle and healthier plants overall.
For any beginner growers that are not aware, NPK simply refers to nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium—the three critical macronutrients that plants need in large amounts to prosper. We’ve already touched on the important function of nitrogen in cannabis plants, but what about phosphorus and potassium? Well, phosphorus assists in early root growth, cold resistance, and helps plants to use water optimally. Potassium, on the other hand, helps to correctly move water and nutrients throughout plants, while enabling enzymes to create adenosine triphosphate (ATP)—the unit of energy within cells.

How and When to Apply
Remo GROW Is designed to be used jointly with with Remo MICRO during the vegetative growth stage. It can be applied from the first week of vegetative growth all the way up to when flowering begins, and can be used for both indoor and outdoor cultivation.
During the vegetative growth period:
- Week 1: use 1.3 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
- Week 2: use 1.5 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
- Week 3: use 1.8 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
- Week 4: use 2.1 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
Bloom
Bloom provides a unique NPK ratio that in combination with Micro provides every nutrient your plants need, resulting in super dense and compact buds with lots and lots of resin. The macro and micronutrient ratio allows you to grow without worrying about nutrient deficiencies while the top-quality chelates and minerals ensure a stable pH, thus minimizing the risk of nutrient lockout or any pH problems.

How and When to Apply
Remo BLOOM is used in the same nutrient feed solution as Remo Bloom. Remember to always give the bottles a good shake before you adding the nutrients, and never mix the two concentrated nutrients together without water.
During the flowering growth period:
- Week 1-4: use 2.1 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
- Week 5-7: use 2.6 ml per 1 liter of feed water.
Have in mind that you can get excellent results without using the supplements you’ll read about below but if you’re looking to take your harvest to the next level, it’s highly recommended that you provide the complete line of Remo Nutrients.
2. Supplements
Remo Nutrients supplements are additional products designed with a specific composition to provide your plants with specific elements to cover your crop’s needs, thus avoiding problems while increasing yield and the overall quality of your flowers, promoting trichome production and bud density.
VeloKelp
VeloKelp contains multiple seaweed extracts and is packed with vitamins specifically designed to sustain a thriving crop. This product improves nutrient uptake during the flowering stage but can be more beneficial during the first weeks of plant growth due to improving plant growth and root development.

Astroflower
Astroflower has been specifically designed to complement the base nutrients perfectly, this mix provides fossilized organics that focus on the parts that control flower production and improve trichome production, resulting in an increased terpene and cannabinoid content.
Just have in mind that in order to have improved results you will have to use Astroflower in combination with the other products recommended for your specific grow setup.

Have in mind that all of Remo products can be used in coco, soil, and hydro, that’s why you’ll be using both base products and supplements in all setups, although the amounts will differ depending on your setup.
3. Remo Nutrients Feeding Charts
So now that you now a bit more about Remo fertilizers, supplements, and their benefits, here is one feeding chart for soil and coco, and another one for hydroponic setups. Always remember that this is just a guideline and you will have to change the amounts according to the strain and specific growing conditions you’re dealing with.

Recommendations When Dealing With Hard Water
Remember that these feeding charts are meant to be used with reverse osmosis water, meaning that it contains less than 200ppm, tap water in most cities is usually fine but if you’re using well water or your water has more than 200ppm it’s likely that you won’t need to use Magnifical so make sure you check it first and adjust the amounts to avoid nutrient toxicity.

Recommendations When Flushing
Despite Nature’s Candy not containing NPK and being safe to use during flushing, it’s not ideal because it may slightly alter the flavor so it’s highly recommended that you flush for at least 7 days to wash off any excess nutrients, or if you prefer, you can flush for a total of 14 days, flushing for 7 days with Nature’s Candy and the following 7 with plain water. Now, for those of you who stick to autoflowers, here’s a feeding chart for hydroponic setups and another one designed for coco and soil, just like mentioned above, these charts are just a guideline and it’s possible that you’ll need to increase or decrease the nutrient dose depending on your specific grow setup.

Keep In Mind When Mixing Your Nutrient Solution
Due to all the products being chelated there’s no need to mix them in a certain order; the only thing you have to keep an eye out for is crystallization which can sometimes occur when the products are exposed to cold. When this happens, you’ll have to warm them up either by putting them at room temperature or in a bucket with warm water and then shaking well. This doesn’t mean that your products have gone bad and they can still be used without a problem.

Recommendations on all Remo Products
When using the complete line of Remo Nutrients there’s no need to add anything else, you can add beneficial microorganisms or enzymes but only if you see it fit.
Before adding anything else, make sure your plants really need it because these products contain everything your plants need, so only add extras if you know what you’re doing to avoid overfeeding.
Also, remember that Remo Nutrients have a shelf life, despite long, it's better to respect it:
- Closed and in room temperature - 2-3 years;
- Opened - 6 months.
By following this you have an idea of how long you may store them, so make sure you buy the right amount to avoid waste.
