Description

An unbelievably resilient autoflowering strain, that is easy to grow and perfect for beginners. Very generous yields that really pack a punch when it comes to effect. This Indica hybrid is one for those who enjoy a good couch lock. We were able to enhance the extremely high plant resistance from the Northern Lights, and as well as yields. A very tough strain that responds well to cold and hot conditions and requires very little maintenance. An old school classic that will really hit you between the eyes with her powerful, long-lasting effects.

Bud description

Her buds are light, airy, frosty, and almost have a long and narrow structure. The shape of the bud is similar to an acorn with swollen calyx protruding all over. The trichomes are clustered together at every point of the bud, making her a fantastic option for hash makers who work with dry sift.

Smoke report

Northern Lights Auto will leave you on your knees begging for more. You will feel her 20% THC potency instantly after lighting a joint, with a fast-acting physical effect that is reminiscent of a full-blooded Indica. The more you smoke, the deeper your slumber will become as she makes the eyes feel like they are melting and a full couch lock effect on your entire body. We recommend this strain for evening times when you need to shut off from a long day, or to induce a long deep sleep, lounging at home with nothing to do, watching movies, and using as little energy as possible

Plant Appearance

When growing Original Auto Northern Lights, you can expect plants to reach a height of 90-120cm. She grows quite large and will reward you with an abundance of top-quality buds that can be up to 500-600gr/m2. Internodal spacing will be very short making her easy to grow and maintain, which is why she is ideal for beginner growers. Her leaf structure will be a classic Indica appearance with a thick main stem and chunky hardwood side branches. A rock-solid producer of glistening savory-sweet buds, indoors, and outdoors a very popular choice for growers who experience cold and wet weather.

Grow Tips

A large producer that works incredibly well in a Sea of Green. Her high levels of resilience mean she can fight off plant disease with no issues making her a fantastic choice for colder climates that experience short summers and rainfall. This strain also has a high resistance to bugs and insects making her good for gardens that are overrun with pests. This lady can take a high E.C and will reward you with dense, weighted buds. We advise flushing 2 weeks prior to harvest to remove any nutrients that may have built up over time.

Flavor

A hard-bodied Indica that contains deep flavors of mouthwatering savory terpenes. She is spicy on the palette with sensations of pepper, spice, and a mild fruitiness. Northern Lights Auto is more earthy than pungent but she certainly smells like she packs some firepower.

Long time grower, but new to autos
I'm an older man, in my late 60s, with a lot of different aches and pains going on, this is a great strain to help me relax and wind down after a hard day. The grow itself was even therapuetic. I really enjoyed the day to day tasks of growing this and the progress I saw. I have only grown a few autos in my time so it was quite wonderful to see how fast they grow in comparison. The structure was great for LST and she took a medium amount of nutes. Overall I will keep growing this from time to time.

Be very careful with dosages!
I find this stuff way too strong. I can hardly open my eyes or get up from the couch. Going to bed is the only option. I’m writing this in the aftermath. I don’t honestly know what I’m gonna do with my harvest and so much of it too.

Unbelievable genetics, hats off to FastBuds!
I was impressed by the amount of resin NL produces. The crystals cover everything. Even large fan leaves on top have fur on them halfway from the stalk. And I swear if you roll the stems between your fingers you can gather some finger hash from them too because they’re also sticky! I shuuder to think how potent the smoke will be once it cured properly!

Question:
Q:
How do I know if I'm under or over-watering my plants?
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for your question! If you're overwatering the leaves will start to get droopy and if you're underwatering the leaves will start to dry up and get crispy.

Question:
Q:
In your description you mention this plant can take a high E.C feed - can you provide a reference value/range?
Answer:
A:
Hello, a higher EC value means that this plant can take a higher nutrient dose, we cannot give you a value because it depends on the type of medium you are using, please send an email to [email protected] and we'll be able to guide you.

Question:
Q:
What is the recommended light cycle?
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for asking! We usually recommend 18/6 but if you grow under 20/4 it's possible you'll get slightly higher yields, so it basically comes down to what you can afford and what suits you better.

Question:
Q:
The leaves on my Northern Lights have started to point upwards. What does this mean?
Answer:
A:
Hello! If the leaves are pointing upwards but you don't see any yellowing on them, it means you've found the sweet spot for light intensity, everything is fine. Just make sure you keep an eye for signs of deficiencies.

Question:
Q:
Is it true that you don't have to check your ph when feeding organic nutrients?
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for asking! Usually, with 100% organic nutrients you don't have to check the pH unless you see signs of deficiencies, but you should check it unless it's specified by the manufacturer.

Question:
Q:
I am about to harvest my northern lights. I see some people wet trim and then dry the plant, and others dry the plant and then trim it dry. What's the best way to do it?
Answer:
A:
Hello! It depends on the conditions you provide while drying. If you can control the environment in your drying room then it's ok to trim after drying, if not, you should wet trim.

Question:
Q:
Is it low odor for a stealth balcony grow?
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for asking! Our Northern Lights Auto doesn't smell as much as some other strains such as our Cheese Auto during the flowering stage but it will smell a bit so if you are worried it would be better to have aromatic plants to help mask the smell if you're growing outdoors or a carbon filter if you're growing indoors.

Question:
Q:
I’m considering growing this indoors alongside 2 other indicas which are recommended to be kept below 50% RH during the entire flowering phase - would this do well in the same conditions? Thanks

Question:
Q:
Ar autoflowering strains comfortable with 14° temperatures at night? Are there any good effects on the plant when stays the night outdoors?
Answer:
A:
Hello, thanks for asking. As long as the temperature is above 13°C you shouldn't have a problem, just make sure you keep an eye on your plant to see if everything is okay. A good thing about growing outdoors is that due to the lower temperatures at night, your plant will show unique colors but other than that the bud quality will depend on your ability as a grower.
